Keep Fumble Recovery, Initiative Reaction, and Threat Detection from Solo.

Unwavering Blade
You have been trained to move and kill, blade dancing by your side to cut down any foe that comes before you.
For 2 Points, you may move and make a melee attack, but this is only taken as an "Action". Your path must be in a straight line and can go up yo your MOVE in m/yds. For every 2 additional points spent, you may attack an additional target in your path.
Deflection
Your blade moves as quick as lightning, as fast as a flowing river to protect you from ranged harm.
For 2 points, you may deflect 1 ranged attack (aside from grenades and missiles/rockets). This is done as rolling your attack versus their attack. For every additional 2 points, you may deflect another ranged attack. Deflected ranged attacks deal half their damage, after taking into account armor, back at the attacker.
Every range band beyond 0-6 m/yds applies a -1 penalty to the attempt. Every range band beyond 26-50 m/yds applies a -2 penalty. This means trying to deflect a shot from 100 meters has a -5 penalty to it. This penalty can be reduced for every additional point spent on it.
Poise
Your foes think they are able to hide behind layers of thick armor, but your blade's cutting edge shall prove them wrong. Blood will spew, limbs will fly off with the most precise of slashes.
You can apply your points to a target. Every point applied lowers the the requirement to deliver a Critical Injury. This means that 1 point applied to a target only needs a 6 and a 5 damage dice rolled. With 2 points applied, it is a 5 and a 5 minimum to trigger a Critical Injury. These points are applied to the target until a Critical Injury is achieved or, at the start of your turn, you remove them. These points are considered permanently spent until one of those happen.
Street Samurai
Some Solos may believe themselves to be the modern-day Samurai. Some may think all their fancy gadgets and guns puts them at the top of the food chain when it comes to killers. You, on the other hand, have recognized that the blade can still rule this modern day battlefield. Your iaijutsu is faster than any pull of the trigger. Your feet move you quickly across the battlefield to commit to any threat. The only thing you have to do is prove those gun-toting brutes wrong. If you do, you're standing far above them when your sword seeps into flesh of half a dozen men before the blink of the eye. It is only unfortunate that people still believe samurai to be honorable and noble spirits instead of bloodthirsty demons of the battlefield.
(It should come as no surprise that Street Samurai's role ability only works with bladed weapons.)
