CP Red Role: Gladiator

Even in these modern times where people worry over laws and regulations, bloodsports seem to find a way to regain a viewership.
Sure, sometimes it's all an act of punching each other and dropping from two stories onto another person in AEW, but boxing and MMA is by far bloodier and most of the time deadlier if you keep up with official sources. Yet, with the advent of cybernetics, medicine, and loose morals there has been official gladiator pits. Some are nothing more than poorly managed streetbrawls while others are massive events where all corporations attempt to promote their products and their gladiators to the fans who are starving for blood. That's not to say that death is common. Most managers see losing their rising star that they've spent thousands in enhancing as training as a waste for everyone. Sometimes emotions run high, and accidents happen. And sometimes, just sometimes, people are gonna die before the match ends. That's just how the dice rolls.
You're one of those gladiators. Maybe fighting is all you know, so it was the proper choice. Some families have a long history of gladiator fighting, so you were groomed until the role-- you might hate it, you might accept it gratefully as your duty. Regardless, you're all about taking and giving blows to make it all look good for the audience while still being able to walk home afterwards.
What makes this difference from the Solo? You're a hell of a lot more inflexible. You've trained for, or naturally fell into, a certain type of "role" within gladiator games. It's almost impossible for you to change, but that doesn't mean you can't
Role Ability: Gladiatorial Strength
Each gladiator fits into a certain combat archetype. Some prefer going sword and board, others attempt to take out their enemies from afar with flashy explosions and smooth motions. This means you choose one type of gladiator.
Juggernaut:
You prefer to take every blow, perhaps wishing to tire their opponents out before finally going in for the kill. The audience tends to see this gladiator as boring at first, but there is a certain amount of tension as they all wait and see who gives up first in the battle of endurance.
Add Rank*2 to your hitpoints. Add Rank to your Armor, even if you aren't wearing any armor.
Dreadnaught:
Your ideal situation is to strike hard, hard enough to kill some people in a single blow not that you might want to do that. One of the most exciting gladiators as harsh strikes quickly strike their opponents and ensure no fights drag on for too long.
Add Rank to your melee damage. Add Rank/2 (min 1) to your MOVE.
Deadeye:
Move fast, stay out of the opponent's reach. That's your motto. Maybe it's not that interesting to the crowd, but those moments when the enemy closes in on you, throwing your heart into overdrive as you start to wonder if this is it or not-- but you know it's not. Just gotta get away. As long as you can stay ahead of your opponent, you're able to make the most out of your abilities with your weapon.
Add Rank to your ranged damage. Add Rank/2 to your Initiative.
Pioneer:
Sure, you don't take that many hits, nor do you hit that hard, but you got guts, kid. You charge in and try to make the most out of your abilities. You're an underdog in these series, but everyone loves rooting for an underdog.
Add Rank/2 to your Death Save. Add Rank to Hitpoints. Whenever you would take damage that would reduce you to your Serious Wounds state, you can force the target to reroll the attack. This is only once per attack.
Why do you Fight?
Roll | Why
1 | For Money
2 | For Fame
3 | For a Cause
4 | For Myself
5 | To Hurt
6 | I Have Nothing Else
Who supplies you?
Roll | Who
1 | A Corporation, big or small they're always looking to plaster their logo on armor and weapons.
2 | A Government, local or federal. It's for moral and showing to the rest of the world we're the best.
3 | Influential Person, someone rich has taking a liking to you.
5 | Local Folk, they look up to you and were willing to pool their money together to give you a chance.
6 | Hardened Retiree, they might be a prick, but they believe in you and have plenty to teach you.
4 | Yourself, spent the last of your money on your gear and training.
What's your signature?
Roll | What
1 | You have an overtly flashy entrance. Fireworks shoot off, you're lowered from the sky, the crowd cheers your name as hard rock bursts over the speaker.
2 | Your fighting style is unique. You love to do flips, balance on the edge of your weapon, mess with your opponent by planting a kiss on their forehead when they miss you by an inch.
3 | Your charisma is overflowing. Maybe you're highly annoying and everyone wants to see you beaten or you're a cute girl who shows off her curves and blows kisses to her fans.
4 | You play a character-- more than the other gladiators might. Maybe you like to roleplay as the most American son of a bitch on this metal rock or cosplay some sort of fictional character and even act like them.
5 | Your signature is your lack of signature. Perhaps you treat every fight as seriously as possible, causing an air of coolness to naturally form around you. Or maybe you treat every fight as a friendly competition and those of the meanest disposition find themselves confused by your kindness.
6 | Something about your armor or weapon is unique. You might have a fanciful lance that could be loaded with explosives or armor that resembles that of a kraken.
Do you have a rival?
Roll | Decision
1 | Yes
2 | No
--> If Yes
What type of rival?
Roll | Type of Rival
1 | Eh? You really have a rival? You don't even notice them. You might just think they're a friend who you run into every so often or just someone who likes to be loud around your presence.
2 | An intense hatred has surfaced between you and another. It might be one sided, but you both know how serious it is. They might try their best to even maim or kill you in any matches for this very reason.
3 | You don't remember how it came to be, but you and another gladiator dislike each other. Maybe you're too optimistic or they're too pessimistic. Whenever you get into a fight with each other, the crowd knows it'll be a good one filled with hot emotions!
4 | It's just a friendly competition between you and another. After every fight, you can't help but congratulate each other and want to go for a drink afterwards with the winner bragging about how much better they are.
5 | Since childhood, you two have been butting heads. It might be serious, it might not be, but when you became a gladiator they were quick to follow and prove themselves better than you. They might even be keeping track how many times they have won compared to you in any competition.
6 | You don't have just one rival, but many. Maybe it's a conspiracy to put you in the ground formed by a corporation or a main rival. Maybe you're just that annoying.
